Pop-A-Lock Locksmith New Orleans Referrals and Testimonials
“Pop-A-Lock is the kind of company you don’t want to have to call, but are grateful for when you do need to call them. I (unfortunately) had to use Pop-A-Lock this past weekend. I locked my spare cash drawer key inside the drawer (oops!) and didn’t have a way to open it. I obviously needed to be able to have cash to make change for my customers, and didn’t want to just leave some cash out in the open. I called Pop-A-Lock and the gentleman came out within 15 minutes, even less time than he had told me he would need to come out. He was quiet, worked quickly and was non-creepy (such a bonus). I had called all over the city, getting quotes from locksmith and safe companies, but Pop-A-Lock quoted me the best price, by far. I hope I don’t have to call them any time soon, but if I had to, I would be happy to give them my business.”

Pop-A-Lock New Orleans“True story. Boyfriend, baby, and I decided to go furniture shopping. Since the pants that I was wearing did not have pockets, I put my keys in my purse. I then placed my purse on the passenger seat of my Yaris while transfering the baby from her car seat to the stroller. The boyfriend, being oh-so-helpful, then proceeded to close the door… which he had already locked. Although I knew the door was already closed, I lunged after it screaming “nooooooo……!!!” Too late. The boyfriend, although annoyed at the situation, let me know that he was a AAA member, so we could probably get them to unlock it. Great solution, except that his card expired a month ago. My solution? Look up Pop a Lock’s phone number on Yelp via his phone, and call them. They quoted $39.95 (I think?) for the service, and told us it would be about 25-30 minutes. The receptionist/dispatcher was super friendly, and even looked up the actual physical address to the furniture store, since I didn’t remember what it was. She told me that the technician would call me when he was approaching, so that we could go inside and shop while waiting. 30 minutes later, we had our furniture picked out… except that I still needed my purse to actually buy the furniture. Right on cue, the Pop a Lock man called my boyfriend’s cell phone, apologized for the wait, and said he would be arriving in about 5 minutes. He did. It took about 10 minutes to get the Yaris unlocked. We had to assist him with getting the gadget onto the right spot on the lock – but then again, I’m sure they don’t get lockout calls from Yaris owners everyday. There aren’t that many of them driving around here, in the land of huge gas guzzling trucks and SUVs. Overall, super happy with the service, and the price was reasonable, given that without them I would have been locked out of my car forever.”
